What You’ll Do

This role requires that you are able to commute to two of our venues which include The Beach Club and Machine Shop. As well, working weekends and evenings until 1am-2am. The Catering Server is responsible for delivering courteous and efficient food and beverage service to event guests in accordance with D’Amico Hospitality's standards. Serving as the primary point of contact, this role represents D’Amico and ensures guests receive the utmost hospitality.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Demonstrate genuine concern for the success of each event and prioritize efforts accordingly.
  • Arrange tables and rooms according to specific function requirements, ensuring cleanliness and quality of service ware.
  • Serve as either front or back of house staff, adhering to established catering service procedures.
  • Understand that menus may vary for each function and seek assistance from the Supervisor when needed to address menu-related inquiries.
  • Efficiently transition between tasks while collaborating with other staff members as part of a cohesive team.
  • Clear tables and surrounding areas in accordance with D’Amico Hospitality's service standards.
  • Promptly inform the Event Supervisor or Banquet Manager of any issues or concerns.
  • Follow all necessary closing procedures at the end of each event.
  • Demonstrate pride in work and uphold professionalism in demeanor and appearance at all times.
  • Maintain diligence in working safely and promptly report any safety concerns to a supervisor or manager.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.

Physical Requirements:

  • Must be able to speak clearly and listen attentively to all staff and guests, most of whom speak English.
  • Must be able to read and write to facilitate the communication process.
  • Must have manual hand and finger dexterity for working as a Server.
  • Must be able to stand and exert fast-paced mobility for periods up to twelve hours in length.
  • Must be able to bend, lift, and carry items weighing up to 50 pounds on a regular and continuing basis.
  • Must have the ability to consistently arrive at work for all scheduled shifts as assigned.
  • Must have flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as required.
