About the Role
  • Location: Indianapolis, IN
  • Cardiologist - Non Invasive
  • Interested candidate will join a large collegial group at a tertiary care center which has no overnight call responsibilities
  • Great APP support, and clinical pod structuring which allows physicians to work in a collaborative work environment.
  • Founded in 1978, nationally recognized, award-winning organization
  • Graduated up ramping of yearly time-off with 40 days of PTO starting year 3
  • No overnight call
  • Pod-based clinic structure with dedicated support team for all clinical workflows (e.g. inbox management, surgical clearances, Peer-to-Peer, refill management, medical records, etc.)
  • EPIC-based system for both inpatient and outpatient documentation
  • Average outpatient volume: 11 - 22 patients per day, depending on days clinic schedule.
  • Weekend/Holiday Call: 1:5
  • Short Call: On average one evening every 4-5 weeks, 5:00 p.m. - 9:00 p.m.
  • Tailor-made approach for inpatient vs. outpatient responsibilities
  • State-of-the-art labs:
  • Phillips system includes the Flex vision screens with updated software package including clarity software and availability of nine data out ports providing connection to TEE/CCTA's images on the Flex vision screens
  • State-of -the- art cardiac CT (including CT-FFR), MRI (both stress and 4D flow imaging) and vascular imaging
  • Access to cutting edge structural heart program
  • Support to outreach locations
  • Robust clinical research program with over 50 active clinical trials including investigator-initiated studies.
