We are one of the largest integrated laboratory networks serving hospitals in the Midwest region. Our network includes 32 hospitals and multiple physician offices.

WHAT WILL YOU DO

This individual implements, maintains, and supports the Laboratory Information System (LIS) and other software products used to support Alverno Clinical Laboratories, LLC and Alverno Provena Hospital Labs.
The Applications Analyst is responsible for analysis of current LIS functionality; identification and implementation of unused and new components of the LIS; implementation, validation, support and maintenance activities of the LIS; maintenance and validation of the LIS components of all partner hospital information systems and SSFHS owned Physician Office Systems as necessary; and development and maintenance of procedures and documentation required for regulatory agencies. This individual shall maintain a healing environment for employees and patients with a spirit of caring and concern as incorporated in the philosophy of the supporting Catholic Health Ministries while performing all job functions.
WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR

Required education for this role includes one of the following:

Bachelor's degree in information systems, Information Technology, Computer Science or related field.

Bachelor's degree in medical or clinical sciences; or Medical Technologist certification.

Professional Experience: Minimum five (5) years' experience working in a highly complex clinical laboratory environment, including:

Four (4) years' experience using and supporting a Laboratory Information System.

Experience with HIS (Hospital Information System), EHR/EMR (Electronic Health / Medical Records), Reference Lab and instrument interfaces and / or report writing preferred.

Must demonstrate very good technical, analytical and problem-solving skills.

Must demonstrate and enforce very good customer service, team building and written / verbal communication skills to work effectively in integrated lab setting.
