Join our team as a cath lab tech (Cardiovascular Invasive Specialist) and play a vital role on a team that values your expertise—while enjoying the excitement of a new location. Earn full time pay and benefits while you assist physicians and other Cath lab personnel in conducting vital diagnostic tests and procedures; and operate advanced medical equipment to capture crucial images and data of the heart and blood vessels.


What You'll Need:

  • ARRT certified Radiologic Technologist.
  • Registered Cardiovascular Invasive Specialist (RCIS) certification from Cardiovascular Credentialing International (CCI) required. (Client requires RCIS.)
  • Minimum 2 years' experience in a Cath Lab hospital setting. Experience with diagnostic and interventional cases preferred.
  • BLS and ACLS certification.
  • Experience working with catheterization lab equipment including balloon pump, Impella, IVUS, iFR/FFR, and familiarity with TAVR, PFO closure, Watchman, echocardiography support, atherectomy systems (CSI, RotaPro) and laser devices preferred.
  • Experience assisting with electrophysiology studies and ablation procedures, including calibration and monitoring of EP equipment preferred.
  • Vocational/Technical degree in RCIS, Radiology Tech, or accredited Electrophysiology program required. Bachelor’s degree preferred.
  • State-specific licensure when required.


Assignment Details

  • Facility Type: Hospital.
  • Duration: 13 Week assignment.
  • Schedule: Monday–Friday with participation in call rotation. Must take at least 14 days of call.
  • Unit: Cardiac catheterization lab supporting Cath, Vascular, EP and hybrid rooms (3–4 rooms).
  • Typical Volume: Generally 4–8 cath cases per day; occasional higher volume when multiple rooms operating.
  • Equipment: GE imaging systems and one Siemens vascular lab.
  • Float Requirement: May be required to float between units within the facility as needed.
