Are you looking for the perfect part-time/flexible job with good pay? Join the catering team at Powerhouse Cafe and Catering! Our amazing events including everything from one of a kind weddings, to daily corporate breakfast and lunch receptions.
This is a part time position, and often includes nights and weekends. We are looking for event staff as well as event managers.  Most events are booked out months in advance, which make this a perfect job for your flexible schedule. If hired, you will get emails with upcoming events. All you need to do is accept them. Jobs are paid hourly, and many events include tips. Some venues we do include private yachts and homes, islands, weddings venues, and so much more. Event staff earn $24hr and Managers earn $30hr

Powerhouse Cafe and Catering offers a dynamic work environment with a focus on a love of food, teamwork and providing the best products and service to our customers. We are a small catering company that is growing very rapidly.
PREFFERED QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Ability to stand for extended periods of time.
  • Demonstrated communication and interpersonal skills.
  • A superior customer-service ethic and high expectations for quality
  • Previous catering experience is helpful but not required.
  • Will need transportation to our commissary in Woburn, MA, or the venue which varies in location.
JOB DESCRIPTION

  • Assist with the complete setup and breakdown of the banquet area.
  • Interact with guests

  • Clear tables/buffets
  • Present in professional appearance and mannerisms.
  • Circulating the room with trays of appetizers and beverages.
  • Managers pack out event equipment and organize food at the commissary pre-event
