Position Summary

The Catering Attendant for Wicked Whisk supports catering and event operations by assisting with event setup, food service, guest interactions, and breakdown activities. This plays an important role in delivering exceptional guest experiences while maintaining high standards of customer service, food presentation, cleanliness, and professionalism during catered events, banquets, meetings, and special functions.

This role pays an hourly rate of $15.00 and is tip eligible.

Responsibilities
  • Assist with the setup and breakdown of catering events, banquets, meetings, and special functions.
  • Prepare serving stations, buffet lines, beverage stations, and event materials.
  • Serve food and beverages while providing excellent customer service.
  • Replenish food items, beverages, utensils, and supplies during events.
  • Maintain cleanliness and organization of catering and service areas.
  • Follow food safety, sanitation, and company procedures.
  • Assist with event preparation and post-event cleanup.
  • Support inventory organization and restocking of supplies.
  • Communicate effectively with catering teams, supervisors, and guests.
  • Maintain a professional appearance and positive attitude.
  • Perform additional duties as assigned.
Qualifications
  • High School Diploma or GED preferred.
  • Previous catering, banquet, hospitality, restaurant, or food service experience preferred but not required.
  • Strong customer service and communication skills.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
  • Ability to lift and carry heavy items required for catering operations.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Flexible availability including evenings, weekends, holidays, and event days as needed.
  • Food Handler certification preferred or ability to obtain if required.
