Job description

Openwork is currently engaged in search to find a molder catcher supports molding machine operations by safely collecting, inspecting, and handling molded parts as they are produced. This position ensures consistent product quality and supports efficient production by organizing parts for further processing, trimming, or packaging.

As a Molder Catcher you’ll be responsible for:
  • Catch and collect molded parts as they are ejected from molding machines.
  • Visually inspect each part for defects such as flash, deformities, or contamination.
  • Trim excess material or flash from parts using hand tools or automatic trimmers.
  • Stack, organize, or pack parts according to production specifications.
  • Communicate any issues with part quality or machine operation to the Molder Operator or Supervisor.
  • Maintain a clean and organized workstation.
  • Assist in changeovers and setup by preparing tools, bins, and supplies.
  • Follow all safety protocols and wear required personal protective equipment (PPE).
What you’ll need:
  • High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
  • Previous manufacturing or molding experience is a plus but not required.
  • Ability to stand for extended periods and perform repetitive tasks.
  • Basic understanding of quality control and attention to detail.
  • Good hand-eye coordination and manual dexterity.
  • Willingness to work in a hot, noisy, or dusty environment.

  • Standing, bending, and reaching throughout the shift.
  • Full time; Two shifts available
  • Monday-Friday 7:00am-4:30 & Monday-Friday 4:30-12:30 with occasional overtime.
