Responsibilities
  • The Production Manager is a high-velocity operator at the center of a high-tempo, high-volume marketing production engine.
  • This role supports the Senior Director, Post-Production in delivering best-in-class post-production services to Paramount Television Media (PTVM) Marketing.
  • The Production Manager drives the day-to-day prioritization, coordination, and execution of thousands of promo deliverables under constant tight timelines.
  • Balances high-volume, simultaneous workflows, manages competing deadlines, and clearly communicates scope, timing, and tradeoffs to stakeholders.
  • Manages post-production operations every day, even under tight deadlines.
  • Maintains project progress and ensures they are delivered on time.
  • Anticipates problems and identifies risks early.
Requirements
  • 5+ years of experience in television, streaming, film studios, production companies, advertising agencies, or similar environments with high content volume.
  • Proven success in managing projects that require quick turnaround under tight deadlines.
  • Bachelorโ€™s Degree required; major in Television, Film Production, Media, Communications, or related field strongly preferred.
  • 2+ years of handsโ€‘on technical experience in postโ€‘production.
  • This includes knowledge of linear and nonlinear editing workflows, audio preโ€‘lay and mixing, and animated graphics pipelines.
  • Familiarity with file-based and cloud-based postโ€‘production environments is required.
  • Experience coordinating crossโ€‘functional teams and balancing multiple concurrent projects in a deadlineโ€‘driven marketing or broadcast setting.
