This position is responsible for the processing of currency collections and ATM and Redemption machine replenishment, performing daily vault accountability, and balancing the currency ledgers. The position requires accuracy, dependability, and strong organizational abilities. Ideal candidate has a strong professional presence, is tenacious, and has ability to adapt, organize, and multi-task.
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Process and verify currency counts; maintain inventory counts and levels, including vault accountability processes
  • Data entry of cash receipts including coding and filing
  • Research unidentified cash
  • Daily/monthly bank and cash reconciliations
  • Communicate with customers, field, and other departments
  • Manage timely and accurate processing of cash collections
  • Count, separate, pack, and unpack currency
  • Strap/unstrap and seal/unseal bags
  • Perform basic accounting and counting skills
  • Daily reporting of any and all variances found withing processes to Processing Supervisor and Director of Processing.
  • Utilize and maintain working knowledge of Cash Logistic System.
  • Assist with other duties and projects as assigned

QUALIFICATIONS
  • Previous bank, casino, or financial industry teller experience preferred
  • 2-3 years of experience in cash handling preferred
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Excel
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to understand and follow written and verbal instructions
  • Strong organizational, problem-solving, and analytical skills; able to manage priorities and workflow
  • Ability to work independently and as a member of various teams and committees
  • Versatility and willingness to work within constantly changing priorities with enthusiasm
  • Must be 21 years of age
  • Ability to obtain and/or maintain a Terminal Handler's License from the Illinois Gaming Board

PHYSICAL DEMANDS AND WORK ENVIRONMENT
  • Frequently required to stand, sit, walk, talk, and hear
  • Analyze financial data and calculate figures and amounts
  • Continually required to utilize hand and finger dexterity, including use of a keyboard
  • Continually required to climb, balance, bend, stoop, kneel, or crawl
  • Continually required to lift/push weights up to 40 pounds
  • Noise level in the work environment is usually moderate

Base Pay Range:
$22.00 per hour
This range represents the low and high end of the anticipated base salary range for this position. The base salary will depend on a number of factors such as: qualifications, experience level, and skillset.
