Job Title: Cash Operations & Treasury Specialist
Role Overview
We are seeking a Cash Operations & Treasury Specialist to ensure the accuracy, security, and efficient circulation of currency and coin inventory. In this role, you will work in a highly regulated, high-security environment, utilizing advanced high-speed processing equipment and proprietary accounting software to manage significant financial assets.
This is a precision-oriented role for a professional who understands that accuracy is the highest priority. You will be responsible for the end-to-end verification and processing of currency, ensuring that all activities adhere to strict operational standards and compliance protocols. Key Responsibilities
Operations & Processing
• Currency Verification: Execute the accurate counting, verification, and processing of currency and coin inventory using high-speed, state-of-the-art technology.
• Inventory Control: Monitor and reconcile inventory levels to ensure sufficient supply to meet daily operational demands. Maintain meticulous records of all incoming and outgoing assets.
• Systems Accuracy: Utilize proprietary financial software to record transactions. Apply accounting principles to balance and reconcile daily throughput, ensuring 100% data integrity.
Security & Compliance
• Procedural Adherence: Maintain strict adherence to defined security protocols and regulatory requirements. Operate within a highly controlled environment where security and safety are the foundation of every task.
• Quality Assurance: Monitor production standards and productivity levels. Identify and resolve discrepancies in a timely manner, applying analytical skills to troubleshoot issues as they arise.
• Collaborative Reporting: Communicate effectively with the team to ensure operational objectives are met. Escalate any security or processing concerns through the proper established channels.
Qualifications & Requirements
Minimum Qualifications
• Education: High School diploma required; Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or a related field is highly preferred.
• Experience Baseline: 1-3 years of relevant experience in cash operations, currency processing, vault services, or related financial operations.
• Technical Mastery: Proficient in Microsoft Office (especially Excel). Proven ability to learn and master specialized financial/accounting software.
• Analytical Skills: Excellent problem-solving abilities; the capacity to handle routine, high-volume tasks with unwavering focus and accuracy.
Preferred Attributes
• Proven experience operating high-speed currency counting or processing equipment.
• A strong "compliance mindset"-someone who understands why strict rules are necessary in a high-security environment and follows them without exception.
• Excellent team-collaboration skills; the ability to work effectively under moderate supervision while maintaining high quality standards.
