The qualifications for a career as a cash manager are a bachelor’s degree in finance or accounting, project management skills, and experience working on the financial side of a business. Some employers prefer candidates with a Master of Business Administration (MBA). Voluntary professional certifications from organizations like the Cash Management Association of the Americas are also available and may increase job prospects.
