What Is a Cash Manager?

A cash manager handles financial processes for a business or organization. Job duties include implementing monetary policies, overseeing payroll and cash flow operations, supervising junior accounting personnel, and assisting with annual audits. The qualifications for a career as a cash manager are a bachelor’s degree in finance or accounting, project management skills, and experience working on the financial side of a business.
