Are you ready to join a collaborative team in a fast-paced AM200 law firm with a small firm feel? Do you want to work with a team focused on providing our clients with the very best representation? Butler Snow LLP is seeking a forward-thinking, tech-savvy professional to join our team in a hybrid Legal Assistant/Paralegal role with a strong emphasis on technology and artificial intelligence. This position is ideal for someone who is curious, adaptable, and excited about leveraging AI tools to improve efficiency, streamline workflows, and support legal operations.
While exposure to legal environments is a plus, we are primarily focused on candidates with demonstrated interest or experience in AI, automation, and emerging technologies. This role will play a key part in helping modernize how legal support services are delivered.
What you would do:
  • Provide administrative and operational support to attorneys, including document preparation, formatting, and organization
  • Assist with drafting, reviewing, and managing legal documents and correspondence
  • Utilize AI tools and automation platforms to improve document production, workflow efficiency, and task management
  • Support legal research efforts using both traditional and AI-enhanced research tools
  • Identify opportunities to streamline processes through technology and propose innovative solutions
  • Assist with email management, scheduling, and coordination of meetings and deadlines
  • Maintain and organize electronic files and case management systems
  • Participate in testing, implementing, and optimizing new AI and legal technology tools
  • Collaborate with attorneys, paralegals, and other professionals to accomplish firm goals
  • Other duties as assigned by Attorneys or Director of Practice Support
