Job description

Responsibilities:

Under the general supervision of the School Principal, the Safety Monitor assists the building administration in maintaining a safe school environment for students, staff, parents and visitors to the school campus.

  • Monitors visitors to the building and assures that only appropriate individuals have access to the building. Issues visitor badges.
  • Inspects assigned building grounds area each morning looking for unsafe items, graffiti, and people not on official school business.
  • Carries school issued public safety radio at all times. Reports emergencies to the Windsor Police Department.
  • Responds to call for assistance from teachers. Escorts students to the office as needed.
  • Supervises students inside and outside the building.

Qualifications:

High School Diploma.ย  Security related background preferred.
