Overview

Gordon Rees Scully Mansukhani, a national law firm with offices in all 50 states, has an immediate opening for a Case Assistant in its Providence office. The Case Assistant works under the supervision of a Secretary, Paralegal, Case Manager, or Attorney creating, organizing, and maintaining files. Ideal candidates must have a high school diploma. Some college and/or verified work-related or customer service experience is preferred. This position can be full-time or part-time. This is an in-office position.Requirements:

  • Strong organizational and communication skills.
  • Computer skills, particularly experience with Microsoft Office.
  • Ability to work independently.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication.
  • Strong analytical and organizational skills, as well as close attention to detail.
  • Comfortable multi-tasking in a team-structured setting.

Responsibilities:

  • File correspondence, pleadings and other documents.
  • Index pleadings and other documents.
  • Communicate with clients, the courts, other counsel and vendors.
  • Retrieve files.
  • Scan documents into iManage system/forward to attorneys and paralegals.
  • Assists with preparation for trial, arbitration and mediation.
  • Distribute all incoming mail/FedEx.
  • Ensure all outgoing mail is routed in a timely manner.
