What is a case manager intern?

Case manager interns are students or recent graduates who work under the supervision of experienced case managers to gain practical experience in the field. Their responsibilities typically include assisting with client assessments, helping to develop care plans, coordinating services, and maintaining records. Through this internship, they learn how to support clients in accessing resources and navigating social services, all while building their professional skills. Case manager interns often work in settings such as hospitals, social service agencies, or nonprofit organizations.
