Work experience in Case Management, Criminal Justice, Counseling, Non-Profit Resources, or related areas may be considered in lieu of a degree

Experience in any type of Case Management is preferred. Exceptional interpersonal, oral, and written communication skills are essential. Ability to speak and present in a group setting.

Proficiency in electronic case management systems such as Maxient is preferred, as well as proficiency in NSU Connect, and Banner. Training will be provided. Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.

Shall have the ability to work in a fast paced and complex organization, with a diverse population, problem solve, and pivot as needed. Shall demonstrate strong oral presentation skills. Strong organizational skills.

Must demonstrate the ability to work independently, without constant supervision. Ability to learn TIX regulations, and the university's policy and procedures. Exhibit the ability to comprehend information and act accordingly.

The ability to sit in on interviews, take meeting/interview notes and recordings, and transcribe them in detail and accurately is a requirement. Diligence in detail is required. Maintain confidentiality/privacy.

Willingness to work during an occasional evening and/or weekend event. Job Specification This is a 40-hour per week (full-time) position. Confidentiality is a priority.

The Case Manager will assist in all areas of the Title IX Office. Main job duties will consist of receiving reports, scheduling meetings, documenting intake interviews, taking notes, making recordings, and transcribing interviews with detail and accuracy, sending and receiving correspondence, processing case information in accordance with federal regulations, keeping up-to-date digital and paper files, presenting educational information to students, parents, and/or employees. The Case Manager may work with Campus Living Villages, Northwestern State University Police Department, Natchitoches Police Department, and other offices as needed.

After successfully performing the main duties listed above, the Case Manager may occasionally sit in as a Hearing Panel Member or Investigator. Other duties as assigned by the Director of Title IX Compliance/Title IX Coordinator. The Case Manager reports directly to the Director of Title IX Compliance/Title IX Coordinator.

Job Duties and Other Information Complete required trainings in Title IX and the Maxient database. Maintain strict confidentiality and/or privacy of Title IX information. Follow Federal Regulations assigned to Title IX.

Create, update, and manage case files in Maxient in detail; from case creation-through case closure. Send and receive correspondence regarding Title IX cases per Federal Regulations. Provide immediate Support Services as necessary.

Communicate with Northwestern State University Police Department, Natchitoches Police Department, NSU Counselors, and outside support offices as needed. Present educational materials to students, parents, and/or employees. Act with Title IX authority in the absence of the Title IX Coordinator as prescribed.

Utilize Banner Financial System. Utilize NSU Connect. After Maxient database training and when comfortable in Case Management, may train and occasionally act as a member of the Title IX case, as assigned by the Title IX Coordinator.

Work evenings occasionally when programming is scheduled. Other duties as assigned by the Title IX Coordinator.
