If you thrive in a fast-paced environment, enjoy organizing complex processes, and want to make a meaningful impact through operational excellence, this is an excellent opportunity to support life-changing work in the Acadiana community.Key ResponsibilitiesPrepare, submit, and track applications for public benefits, housing programs, and community resources under the direction of Case ManagersCollect, organize, verify, and maintain client documentation, including identification, income verification, disability documentation, and other eligibility recordsMaintain accurate electronic and physical client files in accordance with agency, funding, and regulatory requirementsMonitor application status, renewals, recertifications, and compliance deadlines while communicating updates to the Case Management teamSchedule appointments with medical, behavioral health, housing, legal, employment, and community service providersCoordinate appointment reminders and maintain scheduling systems for the Case Management teamPrepare housing documentation, lease-up packets, inspection records, and compliance files for Permanent Supportive Housing (PSH) programsCoordinate NSPIRE inspections and maintain required housing documentation, including lease agreements, utility allowances, rent calculations, income verification, and annual recertificationsSupport grant compliance, quality assurance activities, documentation audits, reporting, and program monitoringMaintain organized filing systems and monitor records for completeness, notifying staff of missing or outstanding documentationReceive and complete administrative assignments from Case Managers, Clinical Case Managers, and Supervisors while managing multiple priorities and deadlinesCollaborate with internal staff and community partners to ensure efficient workflows and timely administrative follow-upUphold confidentiality, ethical standards, agency policies, and Catholic Charities of Acadiana's mission and valuesParticipate in required trainings, team meetings, and supervision while maintaining a clean, organized, and professional work environmentJob QualificationsHigh School Diploma or GED requiredAssociate's Degree in Business Administration, Human Services, Social Work, Healthcare Administration, or a related field preferredOne year of experience in administrative support, records management, healthcare administration, housing programs, social services, or a related field preferredExcellent organizational, time-management, and multitasking skillsExceptional attention to detail and accuracyStrong written and verbal communication skillsProficiency with Microsoft Office Suite and electronic documentation systemsAbility to maintain confidentiality and appropriately handle sensitive informationAbility to work independently while collaborating effectively within a multidisciplinary teamFamiliarity with housing programs, public benefits, or social service environments preferredAbility to operate standard office equipment and perform routine physical tasks, including sitting, standing, walking, bending, and lifting office materials and files as neededJob SpecificationsMedium: Exerting 20 to 50 pounds of force occasionally, and/or 10 to 25 pounds of force frequently, and/or greater than negligible up to 10 pounds of force constantly to move objects. 100% of the time.Job Type: Full-timeBenefits:Dental insuranceFlexible spending accountHealth insuranceLife insuranceRetirement planVision insurance
