Arbitration Case Assistant

A premier Troy-based law firm is seeking an exceptional writer and detail-oriented professional to join its highly respected Arbitration Department as a Case Assistant.

This is a unique opportunity to work alongside some of Michigan's top legal professionals while developing valuable skills in legal research, investigation, case preparation, and written advocacy. Law firm experience is not required. We are seeking candidates with outstanding writing ability, intellectual curiosity, and a strong desire to learn.

Responsibilities

  • Conduct research and gather factual and investigative information on behalf of clients
  • Analyze information and organize findings into clear, concise, and persuasive written reports
  • Assist attorneys with case preparation and arbitration matters
  • Review, proofread, and edit documents for accuracy and consistency
  • Manage multiple projects and deadlines in a fast-paced environment
  • Organize and maintain case-related information and supporting documentation
  • Communicate professionally with clients, attorneys, and other parties as needed
