THERE ARE TWO (2) POSITIONS AVAILABLE:
1) PART-TIME POSITION, MONDAY THROUGH FRIDAY (LESS THAN 40 HOURS PER WEEK)
2) PART-TIME POSITION, ONLY WORKING SUNDAY.

With a rich history dating back to 1908, Casa de Fruta delights visitors with its famous fruit stand, wine tasting and deli, sweet shop, burrito bar, and restaurant. We also offer comfortable lodging at our RV park, inn, and cabins, as well as fueling services at our Chevron station. Our commitment to exceptional customer service and high-quality experiences is central to everything we do. We are looking for a responsible Reconciliation Clerk to join our team!

Position Responsibilities and Duties

  • Independently review daily sales reports for accuracy and completeness.
  • Reconcile all forms of payments to the POS system totals.
  • Verify proper documentation and approval of voids, refunds, and over/short reports.
  • Identify, document, and escalate discrepancies between funds and system reports.
  • Maintain audit-ready documentation of all reconciliations and variances.
  • Safeguard sensitive financial information and maintain strict confidentiality.
  • Support internal and external audit requests, as needed.
  • Ensure compliance with company policies, cash handling SOP's, and internal control standards.
Qualifications
  • Previous banking or treasury experience is required.
  • Experience performing reconciliations or revenue audits is preferred.
  • Working knowledge of internal control principles and segregation of duties.
  • Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to identify patterns and anomalies.

Work Requirements
Sitting (working at a computer (Constant - 6-8 hours per day)
Lifting up to 25 pounds (Frequent - one hour per day)
PART-TIME EMPLOYEE BENEFITS:
  • PAID SICK LEAVE (PSL) - Part-time and Seasonal employees begin accruing PSL at a rate of one hour for every 30 hours worked in accordance with California law. Employees cannot use PSL until after their first 90 days of employment.
