Salary Range: $18.00 To $23.00 Hourly

The Manufacturing Materials - Forklift Operator is part of the Warehouse/Receiving team responsible for the selection, preparation, loading, unloading, and transportation of materials within the facility, using either power equipment or hand equipment.

What You'll Do as a Manufacturing Materials - Forklift Operator:

  • Load and unload material from shipping containers

  • Transport raw material, work-in-process components, or finished goods within the facility

  • Maintain the inventory control system, including consolidation, cycle counting, stock crediting, and material identification

  • Communicate inventory discrepancies to management

We're Looking for a Manufacturing Materials - Forklift Operator Who Has:

  • Previous stand-up forklift experience required.

  • Ability to use various measurement devices to maintain inventory accuracy

  • Ability to physically move throughout our facility (1M sq ft)

  • Ability to work with limited supervision

  • Valid US driver's license required

Physical Requirements Include the Ability to:

  • Stand or sit for an 8-hour shift

  • Repetitively grasp, pinch, push and pull with arms hands, occasionally simultaneously, with and without mechanical assisted devices

  • Frequently transfer objects and materials weighing up to 25 lbs

  • Reach above shoulder height to work, bending and stooping occasionally to work at different heights

  • Safely mount, dismount and operate mobile equipment

  • Move from one area to another in the department around equipment, climb stairs, platforms and ladders

  • This Manufacturing Materials - Forklift Operator position is located on-site in our East Longmeadow, MA facility
