Job description

The Florence Police Department is accepting applications for the position of Police Officer, whether you're a new recruit or you're already a certified peace officer. If you or someone you know is interested in becoming an officer with the Florence Police Department, now is the time to complete an application, attached below. Starting pay is $34.42/hour, which is equivalent to an annual salary of approximately $71,590. Upon successful completion of the police academy, an additional $4,562 per year will be added to the employee's salary in accordance with KLEFPF eligibility.
