Job description

Who We Are
In an increasingly complex world where people are starving for someone they can trust, we stand for something simple: always put the client first. We do well by doing good for those we serve. It's the ultimate measure. We believe in providing value beyond a doubt and in the notion that time will either expose you or promote you, based on your willingness to embrace change.
We serve financial advisors and investors through three entities, each headquartered in Omaha, Nebraska: Carson Wealth, Carson Coaching and Carson Partners. We provide coaching and partnership services to advisor firms - and straightforward financial advice to the investing public. We all share a common mission to be the most trusted in financial advice.
Who We Want
The Relationship and Operations Manager serves as a key partner to advisors and leadership, overseeing client service, operational execution, office support, and strategic initiatives. This role is responsible for delivering exceptional client experience, ensuring efficient business operations, managing complex workflows and priorities, and supporting organizational growth through process improvement, project management, and operational excellence. The ideal candidate is highly organized, proactive, client-focused, and capable of balancing multiple responsibilities while maintaining the highest standards of professionalism, accuracy, and confidentiality.
This is primarily an in-office position with an expectation of working onsite four days per week.
Operational Responsibilities
  • Serve as the primary relationship manager for clients, delivering an unparalleled concierge-level experience characterized by extraordinary responsiveness, proactive ownership, flawless execution, and an unwavering commitment to uncompromising service excellence.
  • Coordinate and prepare all client meeting materials, documentation, and account information to ensure a seamless and exceptional client experience.
  • Manage the full lifecycle of client accounts, including account opening and maintenance, asset transfers, money movement, and other service and operational requests with precision and urgency.
  • Oversee daily client service and operational activities to ensure accurate, efficient, and timely execution of transactions while maintaining the highest standards of quality and service excellence.
  • Maintain complete, accurate, and confidential client records while ensuring operational consistency across CRM systems, workflows, and service processes.
  • Partner with custodians, vendors, advisors, and internal stakeholders to facilitate seamless operations and continuously enhance the client experience.
  • Develop, document, and optimize operational procedures, workflows, and controls that support scalability, consistency, risk management, and continuous improvement.
  • Monitor operational metrics, account activity, and key performance indicators to identify trends, mitigate risk, and drive operational excellence.
  • Ensure adherence to regulatory requirements, firm policies, and supervisory standards by supporting audits, compliance reviews, regulatory reporting, and risk management activities.

Executive & Advisor Support
  • Maintain awareness of advisor and leadership scheduling priorities to support cross-functional coordination and ensure visibility into key commitments.
  • Provide occasional backup support during peak periods, team absences, or coverage needs, helping ensure continuity while not serving as the primary owner of executive calendars. This may include: meeting coordination, travel arrangements, itinerary preparation, and expense related tasks.
  • Monitor shared workflows and systems, proactively identifying and escalating items that may impact advisor or leadership commitments.

Project & Strategic Initiatives
  • Partner and support internal projects, technology implementations, operational enhancements, and strategic initiatives.
  • Develop project plans, timelines, milestones, and accountability measures to ensure successful execution.
  • Facilitate communication among stakeholders, track project progress, and provide updates to leadership.
  • Support firm-wide initiatives that contribute to organizational growth, scalability, and operational excellence.

What You Need
  • 5+ years of experience in wealth management operations, client service, business operations, financial services, or a related professional environment.
  • Proficiency with Salesforce CRM, Orion Advisor Technology, Wealth Management Platforms, Docusign, and the Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, Outlook, PPT, Access)
  • Strong understanding of wealth management operations and client service workflows.
  • Familiarity with custodial platforms such as Schwab Advisor Center, Fidelity, or similar systems.
  • Experience with electronic document management and workflow systems.

Professional Skills
  • Exceptional organizational, project management, and execution skills, with the ability to manage complex calendars, competing priorities, and multiple deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
  • Outstanding attention to detail, analytical thinking, and problem-solving capabilities, with a commitment to accuracy, quality, and continuous improvement.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to build trusted relationships and collaborate effectively across clients, advisors, and internal teams.
  • Demonstrated ability to anticipate needs, exercise sound judgment, and proactively resolve issues before they impact clients or business operations.
  • High degree of professionalism, discretion, and confidentiality, coupled with an unwavering commitment to exceptional client service and service excellence
