Carrier Sales Representative Job Description

As a Carrier Sales Representative, you will develop, establish, and maintain relationships with carriers in the truckload marketplace by providing excellent customer service. Must have a knack for identifying, sourcing, and procuring new carrier relationships, as well as establishing internal relationships within Giltner Logistics to expand your book of business. The successful candidate will have great energy and focus, a passion for sales, and a commitment to the growth and success of the company.


Carrier Sales Representative Responsibilities

Develop and manage carrier relationships
Negotiate transportation rates with carriers
Track and trace shipments to ensure successful on-time pickup and delivery
Develop solid relationships with carriers by providing them with excellent customer service
Communicate with management and Team Leaders regarding carrier performance


Carrier Sales Representative Qualifications

Minimum of one year of industry experience in Logistics Brokerage
Strong organizational skills with attention to detail
Strong interpersonal skills and a dynamic personality
Excellent time management skills with the ability to multitask
