Job Summary

BM2 Freight Services, Inc. is searching for a full-time Carrier Sales Representative to work at our Corporate Office in Covington, KY. Carrier Sales Representatives (CSR) will be responsible for vetting, negotiating, booking, dispatching, and managing a portfolio of carrier relationships. CSRs priority focus is to build strong carrier relationships with network providers to ensure coverage for BM2 customer freight. They will have the expectation to maintain a minimum of 5 carrier relationships that complete 10 or more monthly shipments. As well as cover a minimum of 200 shipments a month

Carrier Sales Representative responsibilities:

  • Collaborates with Carrier Sales Team Leads & Carrier Sales Manager to cover unassigned shipments for their perspective team.
  • Carrier Sales Representatives will engage with carriers daily via phone with the expectation of have 2.5 hours of talk time daily. 
  • CSRs will be assigned coverage responsibilities by the Carrier Sales Team Lead. They will have ownership in ensuring coverage for all assigned shipments.
  • The Carrier Sales team will work together to ensure freight is being covered in advanced with the priority focus of hitting 80% prebooked for the following day.
  • CSRs have the weekly expectation of covering 50 shipments.
  • CSRs will be fully accountable for the shipments they cover, ensuring excellent customer/carrier service for BM2 clients. They will be directly responsible for dispatching each shipment they cover and follow the BM2 standard protocols.
  • Carrier Sales Representatives will understand the Carrier Sales Department goals and works together with co-workers to help achieve the team goals.
  • Carrier Sales Representatives must maintain the four core principles of the BM2 culture. Win the Day, Professionalism, Excellence Only, and Trust the Process. 
  • Performs other duties as requested.
