Job Duties:
  • On-site hands on project lead carpenter to:
    • Manage projects from initial foundation to completion.
    • Encompassing additions, whole house remodels, in-law suites, 2nd story additions (pop-top), garages, porches, and sunrooms.
  • Coordinate and perform all aspects of the remodeling project including:
    • Inspections, subcontractors, and support staff
    • Ensuring seamless progress from start to finish
    • Ensuring client satisfaction and adherence to budget constraints.
  • Install materials according to contract specifications and plans across all construction phases.
  • Meet project deadlines with minimal oversight.
  • Interpret and implement detailed plans/blueprints effectively, translating them into tangible construction projects.
  • Perform carpentry tasks on various project aspects such as demolition, framing, drywall, trim work, cabinetry, tile, and accessories.
  • Schedule subcontractors, inspections, and material orders for efficient project management.
  • Adhere strictly to company construction standards and local building codes.
  • Foster trust with clients through transparent communication throughout the remodeling process to ensure a high-level of customer service.
  • Maintain a tidy and safe job site, ensuring it is cleaned daily to "broom clean" standards.
  • Provide leadership and guidance to crews and apprentice carpenters.

Required Skills:
  • High school diploma or GED.
  • Extensive knowledge and experience in residential building, carpentry methods, and techniques.
  • Background in residential additions, framing, trim & cabinet setting.
  • Minimum of 10 years lead carpentry/project manager experience.
  • Familiarity with city/county building code standards.
  • Excellent carpentry, project management, and multi-tasking skills.
  • Ability to lead and mentor apprentice carpenters.
  • Proficient in overseeing, managing, and scheduling subcontractors and suppliers.
  • Detail-oriented, self-starter who consistently meets deadlines with minimal supervision.
  • Capability to manage projects while performing carpentry duties.
  • Physical stamina for climbing, lifting, balancing, walking, stooping, and handling of materials.
  • Ability to lift 80lbs or more.
  • Reliable transportation and valid driver's license.
  • Possession of personal tools and equipment.
  • Proficiency in English is crucial for maintaining a secure construction working environment and facilitating effective client communication.
