Full job description

We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Carpenter to oversee a wide range of residential construction / renovations of luxury homes and related residential projects. This role requires deep residential building knowledge, strong leadership, and a client-focused mindset. The ideal candidate will be responsible for ensuring that each project is delivered on time, within budget, and to the highest standards of quality and professionalism.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Manage job site, ensuring a safe, clean, and efficient work environment.
  • Supervise crew to complete all phases of carpentry projects, including framing, door and window installation, trim, cabinets, custom millwork, tile, and flooring.
  • Serve as the on-site point of contact for subcontractors and coordinate with project manager to provide subs and crew with information, materials, and access needed to keep the project running smoothly.
  • Complete detailed daily logs, documenting project progress, employee attendance/performance, and equipment status.
  • Facilitate problem-solving to maintain project momentum and client satisfaction

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • OSHA 10
  • Minimum 10 years of experience in residential construction/carpentry, preferably in high-end custom home building.
  • Proficient with all power tools.
  • Ability to interpret blueprints.
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Excellent leadership and communication skills.
  • Able to lift 50 lbs.
