Job Title: Reconstruction Carpenter
Job Description

The Reconstruction Carpenter will perform all phases of reconstruction following water, fire, storm, and mold remediation. This role requires expertise in both rough and finish carpentry tasks, including framing, drywall installation, trim work, and the installation of doors, windows, and cabinetry. The carpenter will be responsible for repairing and rebuilding damaged walls, ceilings, floors, roofs, and structural components, as well as installing baseboards, casing, crown molding, and other finish work.

Responsibilities

  • Perform all phases of reconstruction following water, fire, storm, and mold remediation.
  • Complete rough and finish carpentry including framing, drywall installation, trim work, doors, windows, and cabinetry.
  • Repair and rebuild damaged walls, ceilings, floors, roofs, and structural components.
  • Install baseboards, casing, crown molding, and other finish work.
  • Read and interpret blueprints, sketches, and project scopes.
  • Measure, cut, and install construction materials accurately.
  • Utilize hand and power tools safely and efficiently.
  • Coordinate with project managers, subcontractors, and homeowners throughout the reconstruction process.
  • Maintain a clean and organized job site.
