Job description

Job Title:Apprentice Exterior Carpenter

Description:

You will be on a new-build construction site assisting carpenters with Tyvek wrap and exterior windows and doors.

They will be assisting the JM carpenters on-site with whatever tasks are needed for that day. Primarily, they will be working at heights, but the client provides safety talks and fall protection when working higher up in the air.

Qualifications:

• Must Have

o 6+ months of construction or general labor experience

o 6+ months experience working on ladders and aware of basic ladder safety.

o Need to lift 75lbs routinely on the job.

o Need to have basic hand tools: hammer, square, tape measure, and utility knife

o Need to have a tool belt-they had someone show up with their tools in a plastic bag which does not work.

• Preferred

o High school Diploma

o Some trade school experience 

o Ability to carry 75 lbs.

o Ability to carry 36-foot extension ladder
