Job description

Baptist Anderson Regional Medical Center, a Level III trauma center and the region's leading referral facility, is actively seeking a BC/BE Pulmonary physician to join our growing medical staff. This is an employed position through our Anderson Physician Alliance, offering a balanced mix of inpatient and outpatient care in a collaborative, supportive environment. 

Baptist Anderson, a 400-bed regional referral center and the area's leading healthcare provider since 1928, serves as the region's primary Level III trauma and pediatric trauma center. The role is part of our Anderson Physician Alliance (APA) Clinics and supported by Baptist Medical Group, combining the resources of a large health system with the personalized care of a community hospital. 

Practice Overview:  

  • Join a team of 2 pulmonologists,1 pulmonary/sleep medicine physician, and intensivists. 
  • This is an inpatient and outpatient- facing role with opportunities to provide additional support to ICU/CCU.   
  • Perform routine procedures with the ability to utilize new technology, once fully implemented. 
  • Shared rotational call responsibilities with a collegial group of Pulmonary physicians. 
  • Provide inpatient and outpatient services to Baptist Anderson Regional Medical Center North and South Campuses.   

Position Highlights:  

  • Balanced bread-and-butter pulmonary practice with procedural opportunities and ability to utilize new technology once implemented. 
  • EPIC EMR system.  
  • Ability to work with Intensivists on site to provide ICU/CCU care.
