Job Description

The Sales Manager is the local facilitator with a geographical influence of the overall Olympus Business strategy. Manages sales and service activities of MSG products in Puerto Rico and Caribbean territory.

The sales Manager is also responsible for maintaining relationships with subject matter experts. Ensures consistent, profitable growth in sales revenues through positive planning, deployment and management of sales personnel. The Identifies objectives, strategies and action plans to improve short and long term. company earnings.

Job Duties
  • Collaborates with General Manager/Managing Director in establishing the sales goals for the sales representatives and distributors Of PR and Caribbean.
  • Assign and manages geographic sales area or product line to maximize sales revenues and meet corporate objectives.
  • Establishes and manages effective programs to compensate, coach, appraise and train sales and FSE personnel.
  • Performs sales activities on major accounts, negotiates sales price, and discounts in consultation with the General Manager/Managing Director.
  • Accurately forecast annual, quarterly and Monthly revenue streams.
  • Provide quarterly results assessment of sales and FSE staff productivity.
  • Coordinate proper company resources to ensure efficient and stable sales results.
  • Assist sales personnel in establishing personal contact and rapport with top decision makers.
  • Collaborate with General Manager/Managing Team and the Marketing team to develop sales strategies to improve market Share in all product lines.
  • Collaborate with the Marketing team to establish and control budgets for sales promotion and trade shows.
  • Collaborates with the OLA service team to develop and implement service strategies       
  • Hold regular meetings with sales and FSE staff.
  • Performs all responsibilities as establish in the LAD Sales Playbook, as well as ensuring that all members of the sales organization comply with it.
  • Ensure Full Participation in the CRM program by all members of the sales team Collaborate with the General Manager/Marketing Team in the development of the PR, and Caribbean territory.
  • Perform other responsibilities as requested. 
Job Qualifications

Required:

  • Bachelor's Degree in Business or a related field (or equivalent knowledge) and a minimum of 3 years of experience in the medical field (preferably in capital equipment) with the demonstrated ability to manage sales personnel.
  • Must possess basic computer skills (MS Office), and strong communication (verbal & written), interpersonal, and organizational skills.
  • Must possess a high degree of initiative and creativity, and the ability to meet deadlines and work with minimal supervision.
  • Technically inclined and comfortable working with all types of people and cultures.
  • Professional individual who is comfortable creating and maintaining relationships.
  • Must be very independent and comfortable making decisions on your own.

Preferred:

  • A specialized knowledge of human anatomy/physiology and related diseases of the body where Olympus products might be utilized is preferred.
