This position will be working onsite from Miami.
Position Summary:
The Senior Manager, Brand Marketing, leads high-visibility brand, advertising, content, and integrated marketing initiatives for Royal Caribbean. This role elevates senior account leadership into broader management ownership across strategy, creative development, financial stewardship, production oversight, cross-functional alignment, agency management, performance measurement, and team development. The Senior Manager translates business priorities, consumer insights, product updates, cultural trends, and performance learnings into strategies, briefs, campaign plans, and measurable programs that strengthen brand relevance, improve awareness and consideration, drive meaningful engagement, and support long-term brand and business growth. Working and collaborating with internal and external team members, the person in this position must thrive in working with others and creating an inspiring environment that fosters contribution and connection.
This role is ideal for someone who can move seamlessly between strategic leadership and executional excellence-setting direction, aligning stakeholders, inspiring creative teams, developing talent, managing resources, and ensuring the work is strategically grounded, creatively strong, financially responsible, and delivered with operational discipline.
The ideal candidate is a strategic, creatively curious, and operationally strong marketing leader who can elevate brand work while building the systems, relationships, and team capabilities required to deliver it. They bring strong judgment, a proactive leadership style, and the ability to guide complex work across internal teams, external agencies, production partners, senior stakeholders, and direct reports. Balances big-picture brand strategy with disciplined execution, ensuring creative work is grounded in business objectives, consumer insights, cultural relevance, measurable outcomes, and clear strategic choices.
• Leads with clarity, confidence, and accountability, helping teams prioritize, make decisions, evaluate tradeoffs, and move complex work forward.
• Brings a strong passion for brand storytelling, content development, advertising, creative excellence, cultural relevance, and modern marketing platforms.
• Is comfortable communicating with senior stakeholders, agency partners, cross-functional teams, and direct reports through ambiguity, shifting priorities, and fast-moving deadlines.
• Demonstrates strong financial stewardship, including budget planning, forecasting, scope management, reconciliation, investment prioritization, and resource tradeoff decisions.
• Develops talent by coaching team members, strengthening capabilities, setting expectations, and creating a culture of accountability, collaboration, curiosity, and continuous improvement.
• Has a strong point of view on how the brand should show up in market and the leadership skills to turn that vision into scalable, high-impact work.
• Uses data, insights, and post-campaign learnings to identify performance gaps and recommend strategic shifts that improve brand, demand, and efficiency outcomes.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
Brand, Campaign and Creative Development:
• Lead the strategic development of breakthrough brand, advertising, content, and integrated marketing work that supports product priorities, business objectives, cultural relevance, and broader brand storytelling.
• Translate consumer insights, market trends, competitive learnings, product updates, performance data, and brand positioning into clear strategies, creative briefs, campaign platforms, and actionable creative direction.
• Guide the development of high-impact campaigns and content from brief through final delivery, ensuring work is strategically sound, creatively distinctive, operationally feasible, and aligned to brand standards.
• Champion brand clarity across visual identity, voice, messaging, creative platforms, campaign expression, and content ecosystems, developing tools, guidelines, and frameworks that enable consistency and scalability.
Strategic Planning, Leadership and Performance:
• Annual, seasonal, and initiative-level brand marketing planning, ensuring priorities are grounded in audience strategy, channel considerations, clear KPIs, commercial impact, and opportunities to strengthen awareness, consideration, engagement, and brand relevance.
• Provide direction across planning, prioritization, timing, resource allocation, and campaign integration to ensure marketing efforts contribute to brand health, audience engagement, demand generation, revenue contribution, and long-term brand equity.
• Develop strategic recommendations that clarify the role each initiative plays in the broader marketing plan, from brand building and cultural relevance to demand generation, conversion support, or loyalty.
• Lead strategic planning conversations that connect product priorities, audience opportunities, media approach, creative ambition, partnership potential, and business performance into a cohesive plan.
• Prepare leadership-ready updates, strategic recommendations, and decision-making materials that clearly communicate progress, risks, insights, investment needs, performance learnings, and opportunities to optimize future work
Project Management, Workflow and Operational Excellence:
• Oversee complex, high-volume workstreams across campaigns, content, productions, activations, and cross-functional initiatives, ensuring timelines, deliverables, approvals, risks, budgets, milestones, and next steps are clearly managed.
• Build and improve operating processes that strengthen briefing, project intake, creative reviews, stakeholder communication, legal coordination, rights management, trafficking, approvals, campaign delivery, and post-campaign recaps.
• Resolve issues and roadblocks quickly and collaboratively, helping teams make informed decisions while maintaining momentum, quality, and accountability.
• Ensure work is organized, documented, and managed through appropriate project management systems, status reporting, communication routines, and performance-learning documentation.
Agency, Stakeholder and Cross-Functional Collaboration:• Serve as a senior brand marketing lead for agency partners, internal creative teams, production partners, and cross-functional stakeholders, ensuring alignment on strategy, scope, timing, deliverables, feedback, approvals, desired audience impact, and business outcomes.
• Lead productive communications with senior stakeholders, including kickoffs, strategic reviews, creative presentations, status updates, feedback discussions, decision meetings, and post-campaign performance conversations.
• Collaborate across Brand, Creative, Media, Analytics, Legal, Finance, Revenue, Sales, Product, Social, PR, and other business units to identify opportunities to extend the value, reach, engagement, and impact of brand initiatives.
• Provide clear, constructive, and strategically grounded feedback to creative and production teams while creating a positive, solutions-oriented environment.

• Oversea brand contribution to the pre-production and post-production development including scope, budgets, shot needs, production plans, talent needs, rights considerations, review timelines, creative feedback, and final asset delivery.
• Guide or mentor team members leading on-location decision-making during productions, ensuring captured content aligns with campaign strategy, brand standards, usage needs, creative requirements, and business priorities.
• Support a broad range of content outputs, including advertising assets, short-form content, long-form content, social-first creative, experiential assets, and integrated campaign deliverables.
Team Leadership and Development:
• Lead, mentor, and develop team members by setting clear expectations, coaching strategic and creative judgment, strengthening project leadership skills, and creating accountability for high-quality delivery and measurable progress.
