Royal Caribbean Group's Human Resources Team has an exciting career opportunity for a full time Senior Analyst, Compensation reporting to the Senior Director, Shipboard Compensation

Position Summary:

The Senior Compensation Analyst leads advanced compensation analyses and provides strategic, datadriven insights to support the company's compensation philosophy, programs, and regulatory compliance. This role extends beyond execution to include independent problemsolving, thought partnership with HR and business leaders, and ownership of complex analyses and reporting solutions. The Senior Analyst designs, enhances, and governs Power BI dashboards and business intelligence tools; leads market pricing, internal equity, and program impact analyses; and translates complex data into clear recommendations that inform decisions at multiple organizational levels. This role also contributes to shaping compensation processes, mentoring analysts, and driving continuous improvement in how compensation data is leveraged to support scalable, competitive, and compliant reward strategies. 

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Liaise with Operations and other departments to understand business needs and advise on compensationrelated data insights.
  • Develop comprehensive reports to provide visibility and assurance of compliance with CBA requirements and other applicable regulations.
  • Create and govern dashboards to support tracking and monitoring of new compensation policies and program implementations.
  • Evaluate positions using job evaluation methodologies, market pricing, and internal equity; make datadriven recommendations.
  • Review and analyze compensation workflow processes; recommend and implement enhancements to improve efficiency and effectiveness.
  • Ensure all compensation programs comply with applicable laws and regulations.
  • Contribute to broader compensation strategy discussions by providing databacked perspectives and scenario modeling.
  • Provide guidance and technical mentorship to Compensation Analysts, supporting analytical rigor and best practices.

 

Qualifications, Knowledge & Skills:

  • Bachelor's degree in human resources, Business Administration, Data Analytics, or a related field; master's degree preferred.
  • 3-5 years of relevant experience
  • Proven experience in building Power BI reports, dashboards, and data models.
  • Proficiency in data analysis using Microsoft Excel, including the ability to interpret and manipulate complex datasets.
  • Experience with HRIS systems such as  JD Edwards is a plus.
  • Familiarity with compensation policies, proce dures, and practices, including CBA knowledge preferred.

 

 Knowledge and Skills

  • Excellent interpersonal and executivelevel communication skills, with the ability to translate complex data into clear insights and recommendations for leadership.
  • Advanced proficiency in Power BI, including dashboard architecture, data modeling, governance, and optimization of reporting solutions.
  • Strong expertise in data visualization principles, ensuring dashboards drive insight, decisionmaking, and confidence in outcomes.
  • Deep analytical and problemsolving skills, with the ability to independently frame questions, assess risk, and interpret results.
  • Strong understanding of compensation strategy, job evaluation, market pricing, internal equity, and program impact analysis.
  • Working knowledge of data warehousing, data lineage, and reporting controls to ensure accuracy and scalability.
  • Ability to lead complex analyses, manage competing priorities, and influence outcomes through databacked recommendations.
  • Proven ability to partner with HR, Finance, Legal, and technical teams to align compensation analytics with business objectives.
  • Experience mentoring or guiding analysts and promoting analytical rigor and best practices across the team.
  • Proactive ownership mindset with continuous improvement focuses on reporting, processes, and insights.
