About the Role:
Join J Willett Companies Inc as a Wine Bar and Tasting Room Host in beautiful Santa Barbara, CA! This exciting role invites you to create memorable experiences for our guests while sharing your passion for fine wines in a vibrant, welcoming environment.

Responsibilities include:
- Providing attentive, knowledgeable service in a tasting room and wine bar setting
- Guiding guests through wine flights, bottle selections, and food pairings with
  confidence and clarity
- Sharing the story of our wines, vineyards, and region in an approachable and
  engaging way
- Maintaining a clean, organized, and welcoming space
- Assisting with light food preparation and service.
- Supporting daily operations as part of a small, collaborative team
Qualifications:
- Prior experience in wine service, tasting room hospitality, restaurants, or a similar
  guest-facing role
- Strong baseline wine knowledge with the ability to communicate it clearly
- Comfort with light food handling and presentation
- Positive attitude, professionalism, reliability, and attention to detail
- Ability to work both independently and as part of a small team
This role participates in a strong tip pool, supported by a higher end wine program,
thoughtful hospitality, and elevated average guest tickets. Team members are also
eligible for wine club membership incentives, creating additional earning potential for
those who excel at building guest relationships and converting memorable experiences
into long term customer engagement.
