Royal Caribbean Group's Maritime Training & Talent Development Team has an exciting career opportunity for a full-time Program Associate, Maritime Training & Talent Development reporting to the Senior Director, Marine River & Training Operations.
This position will be working onsite from Miami.
Position Summary:
The Program Associate, Maritime Training & Talent Development, is a key role within the Global Marine Operations department of the Safety & Marine Standards division, based in Miami, Florida. This role's main objective is to support the Sr Director of Celebrity River Marine Operations & Global Maritime Training in developing and delivering high-quality training programs for the Global Marine Operations teams of Royal Caribbean Group.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
  • Draft executive-level presentations for Corporate Leadership.
  • Organize, analyze, and present data to influence and drive decision making.
  • Support the managers of Maritime Training with course development, including content creation, design, presentation, and additional collateral.
  • Assist the Marine Administration team with the coordination of high-priority technical training evolutions
  • Demonstrate strong analytical skills and excellent writing skills.
  • Have a strong background in the use of Microsoft Suite (Microsoft Office and Microsoft Power Platform)
  • Collaborate across disciplines with Marine Administration, Maritime Compliance & Global Affairs, Maritime Investigations, Global Technical Operations, Marine Technology, New Build, Nautical Operations, and Branded Hotel Operations Teams.

Qualifications:
  • Experience in program development and delivery, preferably in a maritime or training-related field.
  • Strong project management skills with the ability to handle multiple tasks and prioritize effectively.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Attention to detail and strong organizational skills.
  • Knowledge of maritime regulations and industry best practices. (preferred)

Knowledge and Skills:
  • Understanding of training and development principles.
  • Familiarity with instructional design methodologies.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook).
  • Ability to analyze data and present findings in a clear and concise manner.
  • Strong problem-solving and critical-thinking skills.
  • Ability to adapt to changing priorities and work in a fast-paced environment.
