Pediatric Associates of Dayton is dedicated to providing high-quality healthcare for infants, children, and adolescents in the Dayton area with office locations in Beavercreek, Englewood, and Centerville.

Job Summary:

$3,000 Sign-On Bonus Opportunity for RNs!

Friendly, experienced medical office licensed RN. The Nurse position is responsible for providing quality care to our pediatric patients. Duties include rooming and evaluating patients, taking history, and performing evaluations such as temperature, height, weight, head circumference, blood pressure, and pulse. Responsible for medical chart documentation, maintaining medical supplies, stocking rooms, and using sterilization equipment. RNs will be included in Telephone Triage rotation.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Must possess a solid understanding of pediatric disease processes and knowledge of normal pediatric growth and development
  • Strong listening and verbal communication skills are mandatory
  • Must have sound medical decision-making skills
  • Must be punctual, dependable, flexible, and a good role model
  • Must be able to work independently in a very fast-paced environment
  • Must be able to work well under pressure while maintaining quality care and efficient patient flow
  • Excellent communication and problem-solving skills are necessary

Other Requirements:

  • Giving immunizations, flu vaccines, and antibiotic injections
  • Venipuncture
  • Splinting
  • O2 saturation
  • Because we are a pediatric office, to be considered for this position you must be competent and very comfortable giving immunizations and other injections to infants and children daily.

Education, Experience and Abilities:

  • Pediatric medical office or hospital experience (2+ years, preferred)
  • Telephone triage experience is a plus!
  • Current CPR Certification
  • Excellent judgment and decision-making skills and high ethical standards
  • Demonstrated flexible and efficient time management and ability to prioritize workload
  • Ability to work well in a fast-paced, patient-facing environment while maintaining a high quality of work
  • Proficient in computerized systems including Microsoft Suite
  • This job requires extensive sitting, walking, standing, bending, lifting, and typing

Supervisory Responsibilities:

  • None

Hours and Work Schedule:

  • Monday - Friday 8:00 a.m. - 5:00 p.m.
  • Home office is Englewood, OH – must be able to report to Kettering or Beavercreek offices as needed
