Job Description

The Farm Attendant will assist in all aspects of farm operations on our diverse 9-acre farm which combines sustainable agriculture with hospitality. Our farm supports Wildflower Farms farm-to-table dining experience while creating engaging educational opportunities for our guests.  Working in our 2-acre market garden, you will help cultivate flowers and vegetables using sustainable methods.  The Farm Attendant will help with caring for our farm animals which includes sheep, pigs, tending to our egg-laying hens, and our two friendly donkeys. This position offers the chance to be at the intersection of hospitality and agriculture by connecting guests directly with the source of their food.  

Core Responsibilities

  • Manage plant life cycles from seeding to harvest, including
    • Nursery operations and plant care
    • Transplanting, weeding, and trellising
    • Harvesting and proper crop maintenance
    • Fertilization and irrigation
  • Handle livestock care duties

    • Daily feeding and watering
    • Maintain fencing and rotation systems
    • Clean animal enclosures
  • Perform general farm maintenance

    • Operate equipment like weed whackers and walk-behind mowers
    • Process and pack vegetables
    • Fulfill kitchen orders
  • Engage with resort guests during farm visits and activities

  • Be an ambassador for our farm-to-table dining philosophy

Rate: $20.00/hr 

This is a Seasonal role from May - October.
