Job Title: RN - Telemetry (with $7,500 Completion Bonus)
Location: Alexandria, LA
Job Type: Travel Contract
Duration: 13 weeks (91 days)
Shift: 3×12 Nights
Pay: $2,152.80/week + $2,500 completion bonus per contract (up to $7,500 after three contracts)
Position Overview
ATC Healthcare is seeking an experienced Telemetry Registered Nurse (RN) for a travel assignment in Alexandria, LA. This role offers competitive weekly pay, completion bonuses, and full benefits. The RN will provide high-quality patient care to individuals requiring cardiac monitoring while ensuring safe, efficient, and compassionate nursing practices.
Responsibilities
  • Monitor and interpret cardiac rhythms and vital signs.
  • Provide direct patient care in collaboration with physicians and multidisciplinary teams.
  • Administer medications and treatments according to physician orders and facility protocols.
  • Maintain detailed and accurate patient records using Meditech.
  • Demonstrate critical thinking and strong time management skills in a fast-paced environment.
  • Communicate effectively with patients, families, and healthcare staff to ensure continuity of care.

Qualifications
  • Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in Louisiana or compact state eligibility.
  • Current BLS certification required.
  • Minimum 1 year of Med Surg/Telemetry experience required.
  • Experience with Meditech electronic medical records preferred.
  • Strong critical thinking and time management skills.
