Physician – Primary Care

Location: Marysville, OH Contract Type: Travel Duration: 26 weeks Shift: 5x8 Days (Mon–Fri; no weekends or holidays; flexible start/end times) Pay: $4,840/week Completion Bonus: $2,500 per contract (up to $7,500 after three contracts)

Job Description

ATC Healthcare is seeking a board-eligible or board-certified Physician for a travel assignment providing on-site primary care services in a correctional setting. The Physician will deliver comprehensive medical care to an adult female population, managing acute and chronic conditions. This is a full-time weekday role with no on-call, weekend, or holiday requirements. The assignment may be extended and could lead to permanent placement by mutual agreement.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide primary care services to adult patients in a secure setting
  • Evaluate, diagnose, and treat acute and chronic medical conditions
  • Perform physical exams and preventive care visits
  • Order and interpret diagnostic tests
  • Prescribe medications and treatment plans
  • Manage ongoing chronic disease care
  • Document all encounters and orders in the medical record
  • Collaborate with nursing and interdisciplinary staff
Qualifications
  • Active Ohio physician license required
  • Board-eligible or board-certified in Internal Medicine, Family Medicine, or Emergency Medicine
  • Primary care experience required
  • BLS/CPR certification required
  • DEA registration required
  • Comprehensive CV with full work history required
  • Ability to complete video interview and on-site meeting/tour
  • Drug screen and TB test documentation required prior to start
