Intensive Care Unit Registered Nurse (ICU RN)
Location: Albany, NY
Contract Type: Travel
Duration: 13 weeks
Shift: 3x12 Days
Pay: $2,322/week
Completion Bonus: $2,500 per contract (up to $7,500 after three contracts)
Job Description
ATC Healthcare is seeking an experienced ICU Registered Nurse for a 13-week travel assignment in an acute care environment. This role supports high-acuity patients across trauma, surgical, and neurological ICU populations. Candidates must have strong critical care experience and be proficient with Epic charting. A competency exam is required shortly after submission. Local candidates are not accepted for this assignment.
Key Responsibilities
  • Provide direct care to critically ill ICU patients
  • Manage trauma, surgical, and neurological critical care cases
  • Perform advanced patient monitoring and interventions
  • Collaborate with intensivists and interdisciplinary care teams
  • Respond rapidly to changes in patient condition
  • Administer critical care medications and therapies
  • Follow all ICU clinical and safety protocols
  • Document all patient care in Epic EMR
  • Comply with unit dress code and clinical standards

Qualifications
  • Active RN license required
  • Minimum 2 years of ICU staff experience required
  • Experience with trauma, surgical, and neuro ICU patients required
  • Epic charting experience required
  • BLS certification required
  • ACLS certification required
  • Must complete required competency test within 24 hours of submission
  • Must meet local candidate eligibility rules
  • Must comply with required scrub color policy
