They ensure that card displays are tidy, fully stocked, and visually appealing to customers. What does a typical day look like for a Card Merchandiser and how much autonomy does the role offer?

As a Card Merchandiser, your day typically involves visiting several retail locations to restock, organize, and display greeting cards and related products. You’ll work independently, following a schedule and planogram provided by your employer, but you’ll also interact regularly with store staff to coordinate inventory and display needs. The role offers significant autonomy, as you manage your route and prioritize tasks within deadlines. Attention to detail and good time management are essential, as each store may have unique requirements and peak periods. Collaboration is mainly with store employees and occasionally with a supervisor or field manager for guidance or support.
