Kellogg Community Credit Union is seeking an experienced and innovative leader to serve as our Card Services Manager. This position is responsible for leading the Credit Union's card services operations, including debit cards, credit cards, fraud prevention, disputes, and digital payment solutions while delivering a world class member experience.


The ideal candidate will bring a strong background in card operations, payments, fraud management, and team leadership, along with a passion for improving processes, managing risk, and delivering outstanding service to our members.


What You'll Do

  • Lead and develop a high-performing Card Services team.
  • Oversee daily operations for debit cards, credit cards, card issuance, servicing, disputes, and payment processing.
  • Drive fraud prevention strategies and oversee card security initiatives to protect members and minimize losses.
  • Ensure compliance with payment network requirements, PCI standards, and applicable regulations.
  • Manage relationships with card processors, payment networks, and third-party service providers.
  • Identify opportunities to improve operational efficiency, enhance the member experience, and expand digital payment solutions.
  • Analyze card portfolio performance, fraud trends, and operational metrics to support strategic decision-making.
  • Collaborate with teams across the organization to support growth, innovation, and member engagement.
Requirements:

What We're Looking For

  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance, Management, or a related field, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Five or more years of experience in card services, payments, financial services operations, or a related field.
  • Three or more years of leadership experience managing teams.
  • Strong knowledge of debit and credit card operations, fraud prevention, dispute processing, payment networks, and regulatory requirements.
  • Experience working with card processing systems and digital payment technologies.
  • Proven ability to lead people, improve processes, and make data-driven decisions.
  • Excellent communication, coaching, analytical, and relationship-building skills.
