Job description

$1,500 Sign on bonus for qualified candidates This position allows a young automotive technical mind to grow into a full certified GM technician. We are looking for motivated individuals currently working (or have recently worked) in the automotive repair field. This position allows the correct candidate to grow into a GM technician apprentice after 12 -24 months of service. Qualified candidates are placed on a structured career path that allows them to grow into a fully certified GM line technician, Service consultant, parts counter sales person, new/used car sales person, or collision department technician. All formal online and offsite GM training included. Great opportunity to build a career in the automotive industry. Above average pay to start depending on any relevant experience. No night shift or Sunday work. Candidates must have a current driver's license with no more than 2 moving violations in the past 39 months. Must be able to pass a drug test. Must be able to work Saturdays.
Responsibilities

  • Lift light duty vehicles
  • Change gas and diesel engine oil & filters
  • Perform automatic transmission fluid, engine coolant, and differential fluid exchanges
  • Perform new car pre delivery inspections

    Qualifications

    • 1 year previous lube technician experience preferred
    • Must have current driver's license
