The Research Associate will lead efforts to understand the needs, motivations, and real-world constraints of health care professionals (HCPs), ensuring that advisory and knowledge-based initiatives are not only relevant, but positioned to drive meaningful change in clinical practice and patient outcomes. The Research Associate will play a critical role in advancing a deep, evidence-based understanding of the evolving needs of HCPs and the real-world contexts in which they practice. This role supports strategic research initiatives designed to uncover practice gaps, professional development needs, and the factors that influence clinical decision-making, learning, and behavior change.

Working across the full research lifecycle, the Research Associate will contribute to the design and execution of mixed-methods studies, including focus groups, in-depth interviews, and questionnaires, as well as systematic literature reviews and quantitative and qualitative analyses. Particular emphasis will be placed on evaluating how advisory and knowledge-based educational initiatives align with HCPs needs and contribute to meaningful outcomes, including changes in knowledge, competence, performance, and perceived impact on patient care.

The Research Associate will support the synthesis of findings into clear, actionable insights, translating complex data into strategic recommendations for internal stakeholders and external partners. Grounded in psychological science, this role applies principles from cognitive, developmental, and behavioral research to better understand how health care providers engage with educational content and how those experiences can be optimized to drive practice-relevant outcomes.

Key Responsibilities:

Data Collection & Analysis

  • Assistin gathering data through methods appropriate for the research effort

  • Maintainaccurateand organized records of data, ensuring integrity and confidentiality

  • Use statistical or qualitative analysis software to analyze research data and interpret findings

Research Support

  • Conduct comprehensive literature reviews toidentifyrelevant theories, methodologies,and findings to inform the research effort

  • Summarize and synthesize relevant articles to support the development of research effort proposals and reports

  • Assistin the planning and coordination of research activities to ensuretimelycompletion of research effort goals

  • Draft research effort reports and present findings at internal and external meetings

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Psychology
  • Successful completion of undergraduate coursework in Cognitive Psychology, Developmental Psychology, Learning and Motivation, Research Methods, and Statistics
  • Demonstrated experience with data collection, survey design, and interviewing techniques
  • Proficiencyin tools such as SPSS, R,Excelor other data analysis software
  • Completion of an undergraduate honors thesis or capstone research project is strongly preferred; submission of this work as supplemental application material is encouraged

Compensation Range:
$50,000 - $55,000 per year, depending on qualifications. Eligible for annual company bonus program or commission incentive based on role. The compensation offered to the candidate selected for this position will depend on several factors, including the candidate's educational background, skills, and professional experience.
