Job description

The Associate Project Manager supports the planning, coordination, and execution of cross‐functional projects with a strong focus on engineering, product development, and manufacturing initiatives. This entry‐level role is ideal for candidates with foundational engineering knowledge or exposure with project management skills in a manufacturing environment.

The role partners closely with engineering, operations, quality, and business stakeholders to maintain project momentum, track deliverables, manage schedules, and facilitate communication throughout the project lifecycle.

Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Support the execution of engineering, product development, and manufacturing projects by coordinating schedules, milestones, and deliverables.
  • Assist in maintaining detailed project plans, timelines, risk logs, and action item tracking.
  • Participate in cross‐functional project meetings and document meeting notes, decisions, and follow‐up actions.
  • Collaborate with engineering teams to understand technical requirements and translate them into actionable project plans.
  • Monitor project progress, identify risks or schedule impacts, and escalate issues as needed.
  • Prepare project status reports and dashboards for leadership and stakeholders.
  • Support change management activities, including scope updates and documentation control.
  • Assist with project closeout activities, including lessons learned and final documentation.
  • Ensure compliance with company procedures and applicable regulatory requirements.
  • Other duties as required.

Required Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in business administration, economics, engineering or related field.
  • 1–2 years of experience in project coordination, engineering support, or related roles.
  • Basic understanding of manufacturing engineering or product development processes.
  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office tools (Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook).
