We are seeking an Associate Project Manager to join our team. This introductory project management role is designed for a driven professional eager to grow their career in the Technology Security sector.

The Associate PM will work closely with and support experienced Project Managers in executing large-scale project scopes, while independently managing smaller-scale installations and service deployments. You will help coordinate local engineering, sales, technical teams, and subcontractors to ensure smooth day-to-day operations and high-quality delivery. The ideal candidate is highly organized, an excellent communicator, and ready to take ownership of assigned tasks to ensure stakeholder expectations are met throughout the project lifecycle.

Responsibilities
  • Project Support: Assist Project Managers with tracking project lifecycles, maintaining schedules, monitoring material needs, and preparing regular job status and risk mitigation reports.
  • Small-Scale Management: Take direct ownership of smaller-scale security integration projects, ensuring they are completed on time, within budget, and to i2G systems' quality standards.
  • Coordination & Communication: Act as a key liaison between the i2G team, technicians, subcontractors, and customers to ensure clear and robust communication.
  • Documentation & Quality Control: Maintain accurate project equipment inventory, manage project folders, and assist with updated red-line drawings and final closeout packages.
  • Technical Integration: Learn to work with integration engineers, assisting them as they program electronic security systems (including access control, intrusion detection, and CCTV).
  • Document Review: Learn to read and interpret basic security system drawings, as well as electrical and civil drawing packages.
  • Proposal Assistance: Collaborate with the sales and engineering teams to assist in creating project proposals and change orders as needed.
Qualifications

  • Industry Knowledge: Basic familiarity with electronic security platforms such as Lenel, Verint, Axis, Commend, DMP, and fire alarm systems is highly desired.
  • Technical Literacy: Ability to learn and interpret security blueprints, electrical drawings, and civil construction plans.
  • Software Proficiency:
    • Proficient with Microsoft Office applications, including Word, Excel, and Outlook.
    • Experience with project scheduling and planning tools such as Microsoft Project, SimPro, or Smartsheet is a plus.
  • Communication & Organizational Skills: Strong written and verbal communication skills, with excellent organizational abilities and attention to detail.
  • Requirements:
    • Ability to successfully pass a background investigation.
    • Valid driver's license required.
  • Preferred Certifications:
    • Introductory training or certifications in Lenel, Axis, Software House, Verint, or similar security platforms.
    • Interest in pursuing project management certifications such as CAPM (Certified Associate in Project Management) or PMP is encouraged.
