THE WORK:
  • You’ll create and manage detailed project schedules covering all phases of data center construction, from design through closeout.
  • You’ll define activities, sequence workflows, estimate durations, and allocate resources to build accurate project timelines.
  • You’ll identify critical paths, key milestones, and dependencies to ensure schedules align with owner objectives.
  • You’ll track progress against the baseline schedule, preparing regular reports with earned value, milestone, and variance analyses.
  • You’ll identify schedule risks early, assess potential impacts, and recommend or implement mitigation strategies.
  • You’ll perform “what-if” analyses and develop recovery schedules to keep projects on track amid changes or disruptions.
  • You’ll collaborate with project managers, engineers, contractors, and vendors to align and communicate schedule updates effectively.
  • You’ll coordinate subcontractor and supplier schedules into a cohesive master schedule using tools like Primavera P6 or Microsoft Project.
  • You’ll optimize workflows and resource allocations to enhance efficiency and meet project deadlines.
  • You’ll document actual versus planned timelines, maintain historical schedule data, and analyze lessons learned for future improvement.
  • Flexible: The work location for this role will include a mix of working remotely, onsite at a client or in an Accenture office or center.
HERE’S WHAT YOU’LL NEED:
  • Bachelor’s Degree in Construction Management, Engineering, Project Management or a related field, OR equivalent relevant experience
  • 10+ years of experience in project scheduling, preferably within data center or mission-critical construction projects
  • Proficiency in scheduling tools such as Primavera P6, Microsoft Project, or equivalent platforms
BONUS POINTS IF YOU HAVE:
  • Proven ability to manage complex schedules for large-scale projects, ensuring alignment with owner objectives
  • Knowledge of industry standards such as PMI or AACE scheduling guidelines is preferred
  • Strong understanding of construction processes, workflows, and dependencies, with a focus on MEP systems
  • Exceptional analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail
  • Effective communication and interpersonal skills to engage with diverse project teams and stakeholders
Compensation at Accenture varies depending on a wide array of factors, which may include but are not limited to the specific office location, role, skill set, and level of experience.
