Job Responsibilities:
Work closely with TDP's Investment Team to help executive teams at portfolio companies build high-quality companies
Aid CFOs and finance teams of portfolio companies to build accounting and finance infrastructure, including reporting, audit, tax, treasury, financial planning, and analysis
Streamline and prioritize portfolio company reporting to provide the most important metrics to management team members and the executive team, to grow customers through a differentiated and profitable strategy
Serve as a trusted advisor aiding teams through the TDP high-growth buy & build strategy
Support various initiatives during the early stages of TDP's investments
At times, work as a member of the management team to execute on investment priorities
Assist in the hiring and building of finance teams at portfolio companies


Qualifications:
Experience as a CFO, VP of Finance, or senior finance leader in a private equity-backed company, or experience as a fractional CFO or Office of CFO service provider
Proven track record of designing, implementing, and scaling end-to-end finance infrastructure, including ERP, close and reporting processes, FP&A cadence, internal controls, and finance team organizational structures
Demonstrated experience building and developing high-performing finance leaders and teams, including hiring, organizational design, and capability building, while establishing clear standards for accountability, controls, and stakeholder partnerships
Demonstrated experience working within or alongside private equity or growth equity firms, including board interaction, investor reporting, and value-creation initiatives
Track record of supporting transactional events, including add-on acquisitions, financings, recapitalizations, audits, and/or exit processes

Location/Travel
Based in the Chicago area or willing to relocate
Willing to travel to portfolio companies as needed; travel time anticipated to be less than 20%

Compensation
Highly competitive compensation consisting of base salary, annual performance bonus, and equity ownership from carried interest and investment in TDP's high-performing private equity funds.
