Capital Healthcare Center is actively seeking a dedicated and skilled Physician Assistant (PA) to join our surgical center located in Elizabeth, New Jersey. This full-time position offers an opportunity to work directly with a team of experienced OB/GYN specialists and Advanced Practice Clinicians, all while contributing to our mission of transforming healthcare through innovative methodologies.

This role is 100% clinic-based, providing you with the tools and support you need to practice at the peak of your license. Key Responsibilities
  • Manage a personal patient panel while assisting in physician overflow, ensuring comprehensive care for all patients.

  • Conduct a variety of clinical procedures, including IUD insertions, Nexplanon placements, endometrial and vulvar biopsies, and women’s wellness examinations, leveraging your training and expertise.

  • Participate in colposcopies and circumcisions, contingent upon qualifications and training, allowing for a diverse range of clinical responsibilities.

  • Utilize EPIC EMR efficiently for patient documentation and management, enhancing workflow and communication within the team.

  • Engage in constant learning and participation in department meetings, where we discuss patient care strategies and best practices, fostering an environment of continuous improvement.

  • Take advantage of leadership training and development opportunities to progress within the organization.

Patient Population / Client Focus

Your primary focus will be on women’s health, providing compassionate and holistic care to a diverse patient population. As a vital part of our surgical center, you will be instrumental in addressing various conditions and empowering patients through wellness initiatives and educational resources. Your role contributes significantly to our goal of enhancing the lives of women in the Elizabeth community and the surrounding areas.

Qualifications
  • Successful completion of an accredited Physician Assistant program with a Bachelor's or Master's degree.

  • Active Physician Assistant certification and unrestricted state medical license to practice in New Jersey.

  • Full COVID-19 vaccination is mandatory for this role, complying with federal, state, and local regulations regarding health and safety.

  • Demonstrated experience in Obstetrics and Gynecology, showcasing your ability to handle specific women’s health issues.

  • Exceptional skills in critical thinking, effective communication, and patient management are essential to excel in this role.

Preferred Experience

While a minimum of 2 years of relevant clinical experience is required, familiarity with EPIC EMR is preferred as it plays a crucial role in ensuring efficient patient record management. Additionally, experience with various OB/GYN procedures will be beneficial in fulfilling the essential responsibilities of this position.

Compensation and Benefits

Capital Healthcare Center offers a competitive salary range of USD 140,000 to 180,000 per year, commensurate with your qualifications and experience. Alongside this, we provide a comprehensive benefits package including:
