About the role

Cirrascale is seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Asset Manager to oversee the complete lifecycle of data center assets supporting high-performance AI and GPU infrastructure. This individual will be responsible for ensuring accurate receipt, tracking, storage, deployment, auditing, maintenance, and disposition of enterprise IT assets across multiple data center locations.

The Asset Manager will work closely with Logistics, Data Center Operations, Engineering, Procurement, Finance, Security, and external vendors to ensure asset integrity, inventory accuracy, regulatory compliance, and operational efficiency. This role is critical to maintaining operational readiness within a fast-paced AI infrastructure environment.

Key Responsibilities Asset Lifecycle Management
  • Manage the complete lifecycle of all IT and data center assets from procurement through retirement.
  • Maintain accurate asset records within the Asset Management System (AMS).
  • Track ownership, serial numbers, locations, warranty status, depreciation, and lifecycle status.
  • Ensure every asset is properly tagged and documented.
  • Develop standardized asset management procedures and documentation.
Inventory Management
  • Maintain real-time inventory accuracy exceeding 99%.
  • Perform daily inventory reconciliation.
  • Conduct scheduled cycle counts and annual physical inventories.
  • Investigate inventory discrepancies and implement corrective actions.
  • Manage warehouse inventory levels and replenishment.
Receiving & Deployment
  • Oversee receipt and inspection of all incoming equipment.
  • Verify shipments against purchase orders and packing lists.
  • Ensure accurate transfer of custody between departments.
  • Support rack-and-stack operations by providing validated inventory.
Asset Tracking

Manage tracking for:

  • Storage systems
  • PDUs
  • Racks
  • Fiber infrastructure
  • Customer-owned equipment
  • Loaner equipment
Asset Auditing
  • Lead internal and external asset audits.
  • Ensure compliance with company policies.
  • Support customer asset verification.
  • Keep documentation audit-ready at all times.

  • Create operational SOPs.
  • Improve reporting capabilities.
Required Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Supply Chain, Information Technology, Logistics, or related field (or equivalent experience).
  • 5+ years of enterprise asset management experience.
  • 3+ years supporting enterprise data centers or critical infrastructure.
  • Experience managing high-value technology assets.
  • Strong inventory control background.
  • Experience supporting financial asset audits.
  • Experience with Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) and Asset Management systems.
  • Strong analytical and reporting skills.
  • Advanced Microsoft Excel skills.
  • Experience creating dashboards and KPIs.

Salary Range (HR ONLY)

The base salary range for the Assets Manager is $110,000 to $120,000 USD. This pay range reflects the broad, minimum to maximum, pay range for this job for the location for which it has been posted. Compensation decisions are dependent on several factors including, but not limited to, an individual’s qualifications, location where the role is to be performed, internal equity, and alignment with market data.
