The ideal candidate combines a proven track record selling large-scale enterprise transformation programs with deep expertise across the Media & Entertainment value chain, including advertising sales, rights and royalties management, content operations, distribution, audience monetization, and AI-driven business transformation initiatives.

The Sales Executive- Business Development Executive (BDE) role is an experienced, aggressive sales professional whose primary responsibility is sourcing, developing, and closing new business opportunities for Capgemini.

Your Role
  • Develop new business opportunities within the Media & Entertainment industry, driving the full sales lifecycle while leveraging Capgemini subject matter experts, industry specialists, and executives as needed.
  • Originate, qualify, shape, and close net-new opportunities across strategic Media & Entertainment accounts.
  • Build and cultivate executive relationships with C-level business and technology leaders within targeted organizations.
  • Identify opportunities across advertising sales, rights management, royalties, content operations, content supply chain, distribution, audience growth, and revenue optimization.
  • Develop AI-led transformation opportunities focused on efficiency, automation, business process modernization, operating margin improvement, and business growth.
  • Partner closely with Capgemini industry, consulting, technology, engineering, and managed services teams to develop differentiated pursuits, value propositions, and winning proposals.
  • Work closely with solutions teams across Technology Services, Cloud, Data & AI, Applications, Operations, Consulting, and Managed Services to develop and win a pipeline of new business opportunities.
  • Increase opportunities across all service lines, taking accountability for qualification, pursuit strategy, and closure of new business within assigned accounts.
  • Handle client expectations throughout the sales lifecycle, from opportunity development through contract negotiations and deal closure.
  • Maintain and convert a qualified pipeline into profitable revenue growth while consistently achieving annual bookings and sales targets.
  • Provide strategic direction and drive business growth with clients to achieve revenue growth, profitability, and customer satisfaction objectives.
  • Develop and lead account plans and forecasts while providing regular pipeline and opportunity status updates.
  • Stay current on emerging industry trends, AI innovations, business challenges, and competitive market dynamics impacting the Media & Entertainment sector.
Your Skills and Experience
  • Bachelor's degree required; advanced degree preferred.
  • Extensive experience serving clients within the Media & Entertainment industry.
  • 8+ years of enterprise sales and business development experience selling technology, consulting, digital transformation, or business services solutions.
  • Proven experience selling large-scale transformation programs across ERP, Infrastructure, Applications, Cloud, Finance & Accounting, Operations, Digital Transformation, or Managed Services.
  • Strong understanding of the Media & Entertainment value chain, including advertising sales, rights management, royalties, content operations, content distribution, audience monetization, and revenue optimization.
  • Demonstrated success identifying, developing, and selling AI, automation, analytics, and business transformation initiatives.
  • Consistent track record of achieving and exceeding multi-million-dollar annual sales quotas and closing large, complex enterprise deals.
  • This is a hunter role, and qualified candidates must provide examples of their ability to generate organic revenue growth through prospecting, relationship development, networking, and strategic business development activities.
  • Experience building and maintaining executive-level relationships across business, operations, and technology organizations.
  • Proven ability to originate and close net-new business opportunities within large enterprise accounts.
  • Strong consultative selling skills with the ability to align client business challenges to transformational solutions and measurable business outcomes.
  • Well-documented track record of achieving annual sales quotas and delivering year-over-year revenue growth.
  • Exceptional communication, presentation, negotiation, and executive influencing skills.
  • Ability to collaborate effectively across global teams, business units, service lines, and delivery organizations.
  • Strong business acumen and understanding of emerging technologies, digital transformation trends, and AI-driven business innovation.
  • Ability to travel extensively as required to support client engagements, executive meetings, industry events, and business development activities.

The base compensation range for this role in the posted location is: $123,750- $340,750

Capgemini provides compensation range information in accordance with applicable national, state, provincial, and local pay transparency laws. The base compensation range listed for this position reflects the minimum and maximum target compensation Capgemini, in good faith, believes it may pay for the role at the time of this posting. This range may be subject to change as permitted by law.

The actual compensation offered to any candidate may fall outside of the posted range and will be determined based on multiple factors legally permitted in the applicable jurisdiction.

These may include, but are not limited to: Geographic location, Education and qualifications, Certifications and licenses, Relevant experience and skills, Seniority and performance, Market and business consideration, Internal pay equity.

It is not typical for candidates to be hired at or near the top of the posted compensation range.

In addition to base salary, this role may be eligible for additional compensation such as variable incentives, bonuses, or commissions, depending on the position and applicable laws.
